Artist's Statement:

The title seems unusual because she appears to be anything but a nun, but the paradox is that this is how I feel; married to the landscape, to the divine and to creating. There is a holiness to that relationship that is monk or nun-like. Yet, there she is, full of pomegranite seeds, ocean portal on her left side, and yellow lotus heart petals opening.
